All You Need is Love

Have you ever had a labor of love that was so deeply personal, you just felt you had to get it right - not for you - for the other person?

That’s how I’ve been with this upcoming Youtube video and re-release of our Crown Yourself channel, or as I like to call it…

QUEEN TV...OR THE SOVEREIGN STATION.

Both work - haha.

AND THIS LABOR OF LOVE HAS BEEN TERRIFYING FOR ME. I’VE LITERALLY BROKEN OUT IN HIVES, LOST MY VOICE, AND PUSHED THROUGH BECAUSE IT MEANS SO MUCH.

You see, it’s for my dad.

And yes for me.

BUT THIS FIRST VIDEO IS REALLY A TRIBUTE TO MY DAD.

And a little known, but very weird true fact...my dad was a Youtube Star.

Seriously.

Yes, at 68 my dad’s Hollywood dreams came true - finally. He was one of the old guys on a Youtube show called “Elder’s React.” He’d react to the latest viral videos, video games, trends, Kim Kardashian breaking the internet, music videos, and other random stuff.

Pew die Pie even reacted to him once.

WHEN HE DIED THE FINE BROTHER’S POST IN HIS HONOR GOT OVER 80,000 LIKES AND 3,200 COMMENTS!

...so yeah.

Releasing something on Youtube, a platform I greatly associate with him that also has a crap-ton of his fans - scares the crap out of me.

Especially when our first video out of the gate is a tribute to him and all the lessons he taught me about life, relationships, and business.

No small feat.

But I’m f*ing doing it anyway.

Because of LOVE.

Here is what my dad’s death taught me - one of the many lessons that are evolving from this space of grief -

YOUR DREAM CAN DIE INSIDE OF YOU.

OR…

YOU CAN LIVE YOUR DREAM.

You freaking decide.

You decide it day by day with your actions.

DEATH CAN BE SUCH A POWERFUL MOTIVATOR WHEN YOU ALLOW IT TO FUEL THE DREAMS THAT YOU’VE BEEN SCARED TO RELEASE.

Because one day, there will be no fear - there will only be what you DID or DID NOT do.

...Not what you TRIED to do.

...Not what you THOUGHT about doing.

...Not what WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU HAD DONE IT.

But what you DID.

AND THE LEGACY YOU LEAVE FROM WHAT YOU DID.
