How to Become a Content Creation Queen

Uncategorized Apr 27, 2021

I don’t write content to write content.

I don’t do it because I “have” to.

I don’t make podcasts because it’s the latest coolest thing that all the “legit” coaches are doing.

I didn’t start a Youtube channel to be cool or to get a Streamy or to be some “influencer.”

I don’t send emails because I “need to stay in touch with my list.”

I don’t sell my courses to just hawk some random shit I threw together because “everyone’s got a course” these days.

I didn’t make Mindful Monarchs just so I could have some passive income streams coming in.

And I don’t coach because it’s the latest trend, or a hot industry, or the thing that some marketing guru said I “should” do to have multiple 5-figure months.

I DO IT FOR ONE REASON AND ONE REASON ALONE…

I can’t NOT.

I feel like my soul is starved if I don’t serve someone every day.

I lose my voice when I feel I haven’t fully expressed my gifts.

I literally physically feel like I am about to explode if I haven’t written something - anything - that feels like it needs to come through.

When my dad got back from rehab in 2019, there was one thing he kept repeating, but never took his own advice on.

Now my dad had lots of “Rock-isms” as we called them. (His name was Rock, so thus the -isms.)

These were things he would say were things I needed to do or other people needed to do, or even he needed to do, but sometimes he didn’t always take his own advice.

Sometimes he would, like in the lessons I shared in this Queen TV tribute to my dad when he learned how to replace himself in his business to grow from a guy climbing trees by himself in his borrowed dad’s truck to having a crew of 13 employees, 15 trucks, and a multi-million business that took him 30 years to build.

But this was one that he learned from 3-months in his recent and only stint in rehab, that needed some more time to sink in…

Now, I guess, it’s sinking in generationally…

And it’s:

“You gotta give it away if you want to keep it.”

You see, in sobriety, the gift of being free of your addiction is what it is - a gift. Gifts can be taken or, more often than not, given back.

IN ORDER FOR ANY GIFT YOU RECEIVE TO HAVE A “NO RETURNS NO EXCHANGES” POLICY, YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT AWAY.

Your talents are a gift.

Your perspective is a gift.

Your creativity is a gift.

Your knowledge is a gift.

Your processes are a gift.

Your support system is a gift.

Your inspired ideas are a gift.

HECK, YOUR WHOLE FREAKING LIFE IS A GIFT.

You deserve them BECAUSE you were given them.

You EARN the right to keep them by giving them away.

This does NOT mean coddling, self-sacrifice, people-pleasing, or putting others' needs ahead or before your own. No! Nor does this mean that

What it means is you aren’t hoarding your gifts, hiding them up in a barn, shrouding your light, your talents, your uniqueness, your sparkle, your ideas from the world.

This means you put aside your own egoic fears of judgment, criticism, success, failure, imposter syndrome, and all the big fears (that really, are all about you), and instead, SERVE others through your gifts and your talents.

By sharing them.

By mentoring others with them.

By releasing your ideas and creations and beauty into the world.

By selling them.

By charging for them.

By using them.

You know the phrase “if you don’t use it, you lose it.”

The same is true with any one of your gifts - especially the gift of your life.

YOU GAIN THE GIFT OF LIFE, OF SPARKLE, OF PURPOSE, OF JOYFUL, FULFILLED LIVING WHEN YOU ARE CONTRIBUTING TO OTHERS’ LIVES IN SOME WAY, BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF YOURSELF.

Maybe that’s through your business.

Maybe that’s in how you show up as a mother.

Maybe that’s donating to a cause.

Maybe that’s in leading your team.

Your life is a precious gift. Your talents are a precious gift.

Serve with them to keep the gift moving THROUGH you.

Because I’ll share with you a little secret…

Back in 2018, I hit my first 5-figure month - screw $10K, I did $13K! And I felt like a freaking rockstar.

That had been my goal, this elusive $10K month that I made means so freaking much.

I put all these beliefs of meaning around achieving that. And you know what happened in the following two months after - I made dick. I think one month I made barely $900. Ouch.

Now there were many reasons why this was - fear being one of them.

But the biggest lesson - and why I am so grateful that this happened - was this:

I made it about money.

I had become so obsessed back then with mastering my “money mindset” that I lost the whole freaking understanding and knowledge of how I had ever made money.

PURPOSE. SERVICE. IMPACT.

I realized that NEVER, and I mean not ever in my history of owning 3 businesses, had I made it ever about money.

It was always about service.

Always about showing up bigger, better, for my clients and improving their lives.

Always about helping people - and yes, getting paid well for doing so. (You can and deserve to have both!)

I lost my gift - the ability to sell and bring in income to my business- because I’d become so focused on the outcome, instead of giving my gifts away.

I let my pride of achievement shroud my gift of belief in myself, in my services, and in what I was providing and how I was servicing my clients.

Fortunately, two months of lessons learned later, I course-corrected real quick.

The more I serve. The more money I make.

And that includes everyone I serve...including myself.

The more I bring all my gifts - and yes, those include the gifts of being able to take afternoons off, relax by the pool, get massages, take a vacation - to how I show up in the world, the more I am given.

YOU HAVE TO GIVE IT AWAY TO KEEP IT.

Remember, your reign is now.

P.S. What gifts do you need to start giving away to start making more? What are the talents, your “genius zone” that you need to live more into to start growing your business and your bank account from a place of alignment, grace, and epic service?

Let’s find out together in a 1:1 High-Performance Acceleration Consult

These have been in such high demand these past few days, that I even opened up my Mondays to serve you through the month of May - you know, before I take an epic few weeks off to serve my children by birthing one into this world.

If you feel out of alignment, stuck, doing all the things you think you “should" be doing, but not seeing any real traction, then book your call now.
