Having coached business owners for the past 5 years, I have seen a DIRECT correlation between the amount of MONEY a business owner is making and the amount of TIME she spends in her Zone of Genius.
NOTICE: I did NOT say the amount of time she spends working IN her business. In fact - and this is going to seem quite counterintuitive to your programming - I’ve seen more business owners make MORE money when they work LESS but they work MORE in their Zone of Genius.
You see, for an entrepreneur TIME ≠ MONEY.
Money is an unlimited resource. Time is finite.
After all, we all have 24 hours in a day.
The key is, as a business owner, to know how to INVEST that time in the BEST money-generating ways to attract more of that dolla-dolla resources into your business.
And that happens when you are operating in your Zone of Genius.
For many of my entrepreneur clients, their Zone of Genius is in speaking and serving, which is why podcasts work so well as a lead generator for them.
The trick is, especially for us multi-passionate entrepreneurs who can be really freaking good at doing A LOT of things, not ALL the parts of podcasting are in the Zone of Genius.
