I’ve got a secret for you.
Knowing this has allowed me to…
Recover completely from a 10 year battle with bulimia…
Write a feature film that got on Netflix…
Become the partner in a quarter-million-dollar company at 24…
Defy doctor’s beliefs and have my baby, my way…
Bounce my body back to its pre-baby style with ease...
Become a Forbes contributor…
Close $39,000 private clients...
Live in freaking Australia…
Wanna know what it is?
Be freaking FABULOUS.
And OWN that shit.
There is a difference between being “fabulous” from a place of ego, thinking you’re entitled to your fabulousness…
And being FABULOUS from a place of SOUL by taking the courageous action to back that s*t up, if you know what I’m saying.
The defining differentiator is COURAGE.
You can walk around all day long preaching about your fabulosity and how fabulous you are, but unless you have the COURAGE to go after those big dreams…
Only YOU will know.
It takes COURAGE and a daily commitment and recommitment to live into a life that is FABULOUSLY courageous.
Where you make BIG asks...because why would you not?
Where you DEMAND big results...because you do NOT play small.
Where you DECLARE what you expect from the Universe and you SHOW TF UP as if it is delivered...because you know in your heart and in your soul that it is.
Where you DECIDE how life gets to be...because AS IF you would accept it any other way.
It takes massive courage and cajones to live with that level of certainty.
I’ll be honest, I didn’t always have it.
I faked fabulousness for over a year and a half after being bought out from my eCommerce company.
I dallied in my fake, phony fabulosity as I played with logos and content writing and being the “CEO” on a business card when I wasn’t selling a DIME in my company.
(BTW, having coached CEOs of multiple six and seven-figure companies, there is a MASSIVE difference between being the “CEO” struggling solopreneur and a CEO with a team of nine mouths with families that your business’ income is dependent upon. Big diff.)
...So then, by Divine timing, and the grace of God...I got pregnant.
I was scared shitless because I knew the ruse was up.
Because I know, as you know, as ALL kids know, even if you have to remember that you know, that you CANNOT fake it with kids.
They will see that the Empress has no clothes right quick.
So I knew that if I were going to be a mother, I would have to claim my fabulousness, and that meant cease and desist immediately with the phony, la-de-dah, B.S. activities, and stepping into COURAGE.
Making those big asks.
Deciding what you want and then just freaking going for it.
Having those tough conversations.
For in those moments of courage, where fear meets excitement, where lessons are learned, that the transformation happens.
Therein is the paradox of success.
