The Truth About Your Fears of Rejection

Holy moly! My TEDx Talk came out this past week and it brought out all the feels. From all the friends, colleagues, acquaintances, people on the interwebs who watched it, messaged me, posted, shared it…from the bottom of my heart THANK YOU!!!

Honestly, this experience of it releasing into the world was one that literally PROVED my TEDx hypothesis.

The basis of my TEDx Talk was this:

YOUR LIFE IS A TESTIMONY OF POSSIBILITY. AND PEOPLE ARE WATCHING.

Why?

Because it’s showing what’s possible for THEM too!!!

Mirror, mirror neurons, baby!!

When you see other people achieve their dreams, even if it’s something that you don’t desire or want for yourself, it inspires YOU to believe that your dreams are possible for you too.

People want to see your dreams come true because you are literally teaching them that it is possible for THEIR dreams to come true.

You are the example.

You are the testimony.

You are the pioneer.

The way-maker.

For every single human who comes into contact with you and your success to show them that it is possible for them too.

YOUR LIFE IS ONE BIG, EPIC, EXAMPLE, TESTIMONY FOR POSSIBILITY.

And when you live it and show people that dreams coming true is possible, they will rally to your side to support, cheer, and champion you on.

This principle falls in line with what I teach my private clients and students every day:

If she can, I can too.

If he can, I can too.

No matter what it is.

Whether it’s someone getting a TEDx Talk, or getting their film produced, or hitting a million dollars in their business,

DECLARE IT WITH ME:

If she can, I can too.

If he can, I can too.

This is how you train and shape your brain to rewire itself (i.e. your Reticular Activating System) to see greater possibility.

So often people don’t go for their big dreams, especially when it’s one that expands and makes you feel more vulnerable, exposed (which can drum of feelings of not being safe) because of the preconceived perception that the bigger you get - the more exposure, the more people see you the more “haters.”

And we’re terrified of rejection.

So we stay small, allowing that

But, I can speak to you from the other side of greater exposure…

YOU WILL RECEIVE FAR MORE PRAISE, SUPPORT, LOVE THAN YOU WILL EVER SEE HATE.

People, deep down, WANT to see you succeed because that shows you that they can too.

So all the stories of staying small or fears of rejection…

Those will only paralyze you in your head.

Once you release, go big, CHOOSE into expansion, worlds will move for you.

Remember, your reign is now.
